There are many sculptures in the city if you pay attention. Some are together displayed in the park, e.g. Jing'an sculpture park. Some show you a vivid local life, e.g. families shopping on the Nanjing east road and xiaolongbao dumpling in the old town bazaar. Now there is a sculpture exhibition in the Peoples Square (by the Peoples Park). Statue works by Yunnan artists are displayed in the open space for any visitor.

The ShiKuMen Open House Museum is a small exhibition in the bustling XinTianDi area. Its Chinese name "WuLiXiang" literally means inside a house. The developer kept the old ShiKuMen house of 1920s and display furniture and articles for daily use back then. ShiKuMen house was once the main residential housing in Shanghai. But now they are disappearing slowly with the modernisation of the city.
